About Me

My Photo
I enjoy creating; with my beeswax, with the needle or home schooling my kids...this is where all the magic is. You will never find me just sitting. I embrace all that I do with enthusiasm or I just don't do it. Life is to be enjoyed and I intend to enjoy each and every moment.

Seed Catlalog Cheap Thrills

My New Bedspread
Oh I just get all goose pimply when the seed catalogs start coming in.  I am trying not to over do it but its so hard to hold myself back.

I also made it by the library and picked up a few books to keep me up at night

I know exactly what you mean about the Seed Catalogs...everything looks so fresh and crunchable. Gardeners are the eternal optimists.

I always PRETEND I'm going to behave when the seed catalogs come in, but really, in the middle of winter, how is that possible????
Enjoy! Looks like some great reading ahead.........

Quarter Acre Farm was a better book in my opinion than Min Farming. You might look for it in interlibrary loan.

Enjoy!

a woman after my own heart :) I adore gardening books and seed catalogs in the middle of winter. One can dream about spring.

Handmaden...equipped, I don't think so...way over my head in this unworked over use of chemical yard..OH YEAH!

Scratch...Yes Optimism and gardening go hand in hand.

Sue...I dream of having a garden like yours one day...but lets all miss-behave this spring.

Cristy...I must check and see if they have it...I was not that impressed with Min Farming myself. But I did really like the frugal gardening...lots of good tips

Verde...dream a little with you and be bad a little with Sue I like it.
