I have been working on my Penny Rug for awhile, OK three years!
I was painstakingly sewing each circle to the next by hiding my stitches within the wool itself. I didn't realize at the time that they were actually sewing all the circles to a larger piece of cloth...DUH! So I went and got a yard of red wool felt and I will be tacking this down to it then continuing to add more rows.
This is being made for our Trailer the "Big Bear" So naturally I cut ont wee little bears and swed them in the red circles.
Naturally, I hope to finish it upthis year along with some other WIPS I am working on...maybe.
Your penny rug is coming along and looking lovely! It will look amazing when you are completed! Truly full of art! How wonderful!
