Bread Baking Recipe

This is a simple Bread Recipe that makes Yummy homemade bread.

This is from a Waldorf Schooling Friend of Mine and it has turned out perfect every time.

Delicious Whole Wheat Bread

1lb whole wheat flour (Using 1/2 all-purpose flour is OK)
2Tb vegetable Oil
1/2 cup warm water
1 package yeast
1tsp. salt
3/4 cup milk
3Tb molasses

Add yest to warm water and stir until dissolved.  Stir in the molasses, oil, salt, and milk.  Stir in 3 cups of flour and let sit for five minutes.

Alex the Dough Monster
Stir in the rest of the flour to make a sturdy dough.  Knead on a floured surface until the dough is nice and smooth and springs back about 10 minutes.  Place the dough in a greased bowl to rise in a warm place for 45 minutes or unitl about doubled in size.

Punch it down and divide it into loaves, rolls, or let the kids have fun and make shapes.  Great for learning numbers and letters...make the shape of the alphabet.   Place on a lightly greased sheets and let rise until doubled in size.

Bake at 425 for 10 Minutes.  Decrease to 350 and bake about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
